Josh Flash is the Founder of ember, a company providing 24/7 live-in support & sober companionship. Based in Philadelphia and Boston, Josh and the ember team travel nationwide to help people reintegrate into their homes after rehab and also navigate times of crisis, mental health challenges, chronic illness, and major life changes.

For more than a decade, Josh has worked alongside individuals at all stages of recovery. Having personally rebuilt his own life after addiction, chronic illness, obesity, injury, and identity loss, he knows that lasting change requires far more than willpower. It requires accountability, new practical tools and dedicated guidance shaped around the individual.

His philosophy is simple: there isn’t a one-size-fits-all path to healing. With ember, he helps each person map a way forward, with a companion beside them, during each first step towards a new life.
