Carpenter | Scientist | Yogi | Musician | Optimist

Growing up on the Maine coast, I was raised with a sense of freedom and independence that defined a typical 1980s youth. Throughout it all, music was the constant thread. From humming melodies as a child to finding my voice as a singer, playing instruments, and performing in bands. That creative rhythm lived alongside a practical upbringing; watching my father work as a carpenter, I learned early on that building something lasting requires both a steady hand and a harmonious plan.

This blend of creativity and discipline eventually led me into the world of science. I spent the middle of my life in the greater Philadelphia area as a pharmaceutical chemist for Merck & Co., where I dedicated years to understanding the complexities of human biochemistry while building a career, a marriage, and a family. In 2009, the economic downturn became a catalyst for my return to Maine, where I enjoyed teaching pharmaceutical chemistry at the university level - greatly expanding my knowledge of clinical health practices and overall human health.

However, this homecoming brought profound upheaval. My marriage dissolved and my university position ended, forcing me to once again find a new path forward. During this time of uncertainty, I discovered the grounding power of yoga and breathwork. By training as an instructor and anchoring myself in daily meditation, I found the internal resilience needed for a complete reinvention.

Today, my life has come full circle. I have returned to my father’s trade of carpentry, a transition that feels both ironic and perfectly natural. As I watch my teenagers grow into adulthood, I find peace in the manual rhythm of building and the enduring influence of music that still hums through my daily life. This unique fusion of scientific precision, musical harmony, and physical craftsmanship has culminated in my mission: helping others through a live-in companionship process.

I am here to help you find structure and wonder. By integrating meditation, yoga, and intentional movement into a daily routine, we will use the same tools that helped me rebuild my own foundation. I look forward to helping you find your own rhythm and path forward.
